The Business
Challenge Context

Mr. Whiz Logistics is a trucking and logistics company. In 2026 it needed people across its operation: truck dispatchers to plan and track loads, drivers to move freight, and call support staff to handle calls from drivers and customers.

Roles Mr. Whiz Logistics Needed to Fill

  • Truck dispatchers: to book and plan loads, track trucks and keep drivers and customers updated

  • Drivers: to move freight safely and on schedule

  • Call support: to answer calls from drivers, shippers and customers and log every request

Why This Hiring Was Difficult

Logistics runs on timing. Dispatchers need to work fast under pressure and communicate clearly, drivers need the right licence, driving record and experience for the work, and call support staff need to keep calm when loads are delayed. With trucks on the road, every unfilled seat costs money, so the roles had to be filled quickly without lowering the bar.

Vortexian Strategy
Resolved

Vortexian Tech ran dispatcher, driver and call support hiring as one project, with a single point of contact for Mr. Whiz Logistics.

How We Ran the Hiring

  1. Role briefs. We agreed the skills, experience level, working hours and responsibilities for each position with the Mr. Whiz Logistics team. For drivers, we checked licences, driving records and experience; for dispatchers, communication and dispatch experience.

  2. Parallel sourcing. We searched for every role at the same time, so no position had to wait for another to be filled.

  3. Screening and skills checks. We interviewed applicants and checked their experience, qualifications and practical skills against each role, so the client only met candidates who were ready for the job.

  4. Client interviews. Mr. Whiz Logistics interviewed each shortlist and made every final hiring decision.

  5. Onboarding. We coordinated offers, start dates and onboarding so each new hire could begin work in the client's own systems and processes.

The Result

Mr. Whiz Logistics filled its dispatcher, driver and call support roles through one hiring partner, so its managers could keep freight moving while Vortexian Tech handled sourcing, screening and onboarding.
